Background on the drawings

Pagbilao is a very extensive city in which nature has retained an important place. The city has many mangroves, a coastline with beautiful beaches, some very wooded hills. Many students have farming families.

Duero is a small fishing village on the coast of Bohol. As in Pagbilao, the students are educated from an early age to know the national plants, fruits, animals, and landscapes. The tarsier, the Chocolate Hills, the tamaraw are real pride. Students also have a school garden where they grow fruits and vegetables as an integral part of their curriculum.
