Gordon Gaudray

HIs Experience

  • Engineer with a degree in Sustainable Energy from Ponts et Chaussées and the Royal Swedish Technical School.
  • 4 years of experience in renewable energy at Akuo Energy.

His Role in the project

Gordon is in charge of setting up the technical tools, from the website with the web platform, to the measurement kit, including scientific experiments. He is also the referent on environmental issues. As President of the Ycocedron association, he is in charge of the association's partnerships and the structuring of the project's sustainability.

His Commitment

His awareness of environmental issues has gradually emerged since 2007 with a first WWOOFing internship in England. During his studies, several internships consolidated this interest in the environment: a first in Sillicon Valley to promote carpooling and multi-modal transport and a second in Tanzania with the installation of autonomous solar systems in animal parks. This daily contact with Tanzanian nature, fauna and flora has triggered a sense of responsibility for environmental protection.

Then, after a reorientation towards a master's degree in sustainable energy, he has since devoted his work to the implementation of innovative energy systems based on solar energy within Akuo Energy.

It is with a constant feeling of wanting to get more involved that he decided to set up the Effet Libellule project with Camille Bertrand to question environmental issues and carry loud and clear the word of the need to protect our planet.
